Nymphalis Antiopa, commonly known as the Mourning Cloak in North America and the Camberwell Beauty in Britain, is a large and uniquely colored brush-footed butterfly found throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. Renowned for its striking appearance and exceptional longevity, this species can live up to 11–12 months, making it one of the longest-lived butterflies in the world. It is also famous for being among the first butterflies to emerge in early spring.
